Lenovo Group VP Chang Cheng has been consistently sharing the features of the upcoming Lenovo Z5 flagship phone through his Weibo account. Today, a leaked photo of a smartphone featuring an under-display fingerprint scanner was spotted online. It was speculated that the image could belong to the Lenovo Z5. However, Cheng has claimed that the smartphone seen in the leaked photo “obviously is the Mi 8”.
The above shown leaked image only shows the fingerprint impression at the bottom of the screen. Since Cheng claimed that the phone show in the image is Xiaomi Mi 8, it is speculated that the Lenovo Z5 may also feature an in-screen fingerprint scanner.
There is no information available on the specifications of the Lenovo Z5. However, it has been revealed by Cheng that the smartphone will offer a huge screen space of 95 percent. The smartphone will be equipped with AI powered dual rear cameras and it will be packed with a massive storage of 4 TB. The Z5 is expected to deliver excellent battery performance as its battery is confirmed to offer a standby time of 45 hours. Cheng has also claimed that with 0 percent battery, the handset will be able to offer a talk time of half an hour.
