After announcing the Lenovo S5 Pro smartphone in China, Lenovo also announced the Lenovo K5 Pro and Lenovo K5s phones. The K5 Pro is a mid-range phone whereas the K5s is an entry-level phone that joins the existing 2018 K-series of smartphones from the company that includes handsets Lenovo K5 Note and K5 Play.

The metal-bodied Lenovo K5 Pro features a 5.99-inch FHD+ display that produces 18:9 aspect ratio. It is fueled by Snapdragon 636 chipset. The 4,050mAh battery of the phone carries support for 18W fast charging.
The handset is loaded with Android 8.1 Oreo OS and ZUI 5.0 UI. The backside of the K5 Pro features 16-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual camera setup. The same set of cameras are available on the frontside of the phone. It features a rear-mounted fingerprint reader. For additional storage, there is a microSD card slot on the device.
The Lenovo K5s that features glass panels on its front and rear sides is equipped with an 18:9 aspect ratio display of 5.7 inches. The MediaTek Helio P22 Soc powers the phone along with 3 GB of RAM. It has a native storage of 32 GB. For more storage, the phone offers a microSD expansion slot.
There is a 3,000mAh battery inside the Lenovo K5s. It is preinstalled with Android 8.1 Oreo OS and ZUI 5.0. The 13-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual camera setup that is available on the rear side can be found on the frontside of the phone for snapping selfies.
Lenovo K5 Pro and Lenovo K5s Pricing and Release Date
The 64 GB storage + 4 GB RAM, 64 GB storage + 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage + 6 GB RAM editions of the Lenovo K5 Pro are respectively priced at 998 Yuan, 1,098 Yuan and 1,298 Yuan. It can be bought in black and gold color options.
The Lenovo K5s comes with a price tag of 798 Yuan and it comes in Black and Blue color variants. Both phones are available on pre-orders in China. The K5 Pro will be available for purchase from Oct. 25 whereas the K5s will be hitting the market on Oct. 23.
