Lenovo S5 Pro Announced with Snapdragon 636 and Dual Cameras

Lenovo has announced the Lenovo S5 Pro smartphone in China. It is an updated version of the Lenovo S5 that was unveiled in March. The S5 Pro has arrived with notched display, improved processor, larger battery and impressive dual cameras.

Lenovo S5 Pro Specifications, Features and Pricing

The Lenovo S5 Pro features a metallic unibody chassis. It is equipped with a 6.2-inch IPS LCD display. The notched screen offers full HD+ resolution and 18.7:9 aspect ratio.

Lenovo-S5-Pro-Black

The Snapdragon 636 chipset and 6 GB of RAM are the driving force of the smartphone. Its two storage variants are 64 GB and 128 GB. There is support for microSD on the phone made available through hybrid dual SIM slot.

The back panel of the phone features 12-megapixel + 20-megapixel dual camera module.  The dual cameras offer features like 2x optical zoom and 4K video shooting. The notch of the smartphone houses a 20-megapixel selfie camera and an 8-megapixel IR lens for face unlock. A fingerprint reader is placed on the rear side of the smartphone.

The Android 8.1 Oreo OS coupled with ZUI 5.0 is available on the Lenovo S5 Pro. It is packed with a 3,500mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.

The Lenovo S5 Pro color variants include Ice Blue, Pure Gold and Black. The 64 GB and 128 GB editions of the smartphone are respectively priced at 1,298 Yuan and 1,398 Yuan. The handset is now available on pre-sales in China. It will be made available for sale for the first time on Oct. 23.
