Lenovo is working on resurrecting the Lenovo smartphone brand in China. In the recent months, the Chinese manufacturer has launched couple of smartphones in the home country such as Lenovo S5, Lenovo Z5, Lenovo A5 and Lenovo K5. The company has been recently teasing the arrival of two new phones such as Lenovo S5 Pro and Lenovo Z5 Pro. Today, Lenovo and the company’s VP Chang Cheng have confirmed through Weibo that the Lenovo S5 Pro smartphone will be debuting on Oct. 18 through an unveil event in Beijing, China.
The above shown poster that confirms the Oct. 18 launch date for Lenovo S5 Pro reveals that it will be equipped with dual front-facing cameras. There is no information available on the specifications of the Lenovo S5 Pro. However, it is certain that it will be arriving with upgraded specs over the Lenovo S5 that was unveiled earlier in this year.
The Lenovo S5 features 5.7-inch 18:9 aspect ratio notch-less IPS LCD display. It is powered by Snapdragon 625, 3 GB / 4 GB of RAM and 3,000mAh battery. It comes in 32 GB / 64 GB / 128 GB storage choices and it is equipped with a pair of 13-megapixel rear cameras and a frontal shooter of 16-megapixel.
Lenovo is also expected to debut the Lenovo Z5 Pro smartphone in this month. The handset is expected to feature manual slider design and it is also pegged to feature quad cameras on its rear.
