Lenovo has announced a new high-end tablet in the global market dubbed as the Lenovo Tab P12 Pro 5G, which is basically a rebranded model of the Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2021 which was unveiled in the Chinese market earlier on.
The Lenovo Tab P12 Pro 5G sports a 12.6” AMOLED display that offers a sharp FHD+ screen resolution, smooth 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, as well as an impressive peak brightness of 600 nits. These are features that ensure a top-notch graphical experience for it’s users.
Before we forget, there’s also an 8 megapixels front-facing camera located along the longer side of the slate for selfie and video-calling purposes. Similarly, the slim bezels along it’s edges allow the tablet to achieve an applaudable screen-to-body ratio of 89%.
Around the back of the slate, we’ll be greeted by a dual-tone design on it’s back panel as well as a pill-shape camera module that houses a 13 megapixels main camera and a 5 megapixels ultra-wide lens.
Just like any other high-end tablets, the Lenovo Tab P12 Pro 5G also brings support for an external stylus known as the Precision Pen 3 which will be shipped alongside the tablet. Likewise, there’s also support for an external keyboard as well.
Under the hood, the Lenovo Tab P12 Pro 5G is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 870 chipset which is paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card.
To keep it’s lights on, the Lenovo Tab P12 Pro 5G draws power from a respectable 7,000mAh battery with 20W fast-charging support. Other than that, it also features a JBL-tuned quad-speaker system and is shipped with Android 11 out of the box.
For those who’re interested, the Wi-Fi only variant of the Lenovo Tab P12 Pro 5G is priced at US$609.99 in the U.S. market, while the 5G variant is priced slightly higher at 899 Euro (US$1,065) in the European markets.
