Through an unveil event in China, Lenovo announced the Snapdragon 855 SoC powered Lenovo Z5 Pro smartphone. It is the second SD855 driven phone from the Chinese firm after Lenovo Z5 Pro GT that was made official in December last year. The Lenovo Z6 Pro has arrived with a starting price of 2,899 Yuan ($431). Alongside the launch of the Lenovo Z6 Pro, the Lenovo Group Vice President, Chang Cheng has announced a price cut for the 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage edition of the Z5 Pro GT.
The new price of the 8 GB + 128 GB Lenovo Z5 Pro GT is 2,798 Yuan. This makes it the lowest powered Snapdragon 855 driven phone available in the market.
The Lenovo Z5 Pro GT slider phone has a 6.39-inch S-AMOLED display with full HD+ resolution. It comes with an in-screen fingerprint reader. The smartphone delivers a screen-to-body ratio of 95.06 percent. It is the world’s first phone to arrive with 12 GB of RAM. Also, it is the first smartphone ever to be powered by Snapdragon 855 mobile platform.
The slider component of the phone houses 16-megapixel + 8-megapixel dual front-facing cameras. The back panel of the smartphone features 16-megapixel + 24-megapixel dual camera setup. The smartphone includes a 3,350mAh battery. The handset runs on ZUI based Android 9 Pie OS.
