Lenovo has recently budget-friendly smartphones like the Lenovo S5, K5 and K5 Lite and now the company is prepping up on the launch of a new flagship phone. Chang Cheng, the Vice President of Lenovo Group had recently teased that the company’s forthcoming flagship phone will be having screen-to-body display ever seen on a smartphone. Today, Cheng has also released a new teaser on his Weibo account to confirm that Lenovo’s next flagship will indeed offer a screen-to-body ratio of more than 95 percent. Also, Cheng has revealed that the smartphone would be launching as Lenovo Z5.
Cheng’s Weibo post that accompanies the above image states that the Lenovo Z5 will be arriving with four technologies. He has previously stated that the next Lenovo flagship phone will be offering a larger screen-to-body ratio by removing the space taken by camera, bezels and antennas. It appears that the Lenovo Z5 could be packed with some advanced features like in-screen fingerprint reader, fully bezel-less design as in the image, a selfie camera that hides in the top edge of the phone like the Vivo APEX and in-display earpiece. Also, Cheng has said through the Z5 also includes 18 patented technologies.
It appears that Cheng will continue to tease more features of the Lenovo Z5. The handset is pegged to debut on June 14.
