Even though the LG G3 has been released just 5 days ago in South Korea, reports have already confirmed that it’s total sales have already crossed the 100,000 mark. This mean LG has sold an average of 20,000 units a day which surpasses the Galaxy S5 which hit only up to 8,000 units each day.
Similarly, the sales of the LG G3 have also outperformed its LG G2 predecessor in the previous year which sold an average of only 10,000 units in the first 5 days. This seems like LG has been catching up in the smartphone market rather quickly – but they still need to buck up the sales of their lower-end smartphones which has been facing intense competition from both HTC and Samsung.
We shall wait and see how the LG G3 perform in the global market in the coming weeks.
