A recent report had revealed that LG will be debuting the upcoming flagship phone – the LG G7 in March. It is speculated to release the smartphone in the market in April. A South Korean publication reported yesterday that the company will be starting with the mass production of the smartphone in March and it will be releasing it in South Korea after April 20. The publication has also revealed some of the key specs of the smartphone.
As rumors have revealed that the LG G7 would be driven by the Snapdragon 845 chipset. The smartphone is expected to borrow FullVision OLED display from the LG V30 that was announced in September 2017. The Snapdragon 845 chipset on the phone will be accompanied by 6 GB of RAM. It will be sporting an IP68 certified dustproof and waterproof body.
It could be the first smartphone from the company to come with dual front-facing selfie cameras. It will also include dual rear cameras. For security, the smartphone is pegged to arrive with features like iris scanner and fingerprint scanner. The battery of the LG G7 will carry support for Quick Charge 4 and wireless charging. The LG G7 could become the first phone that will introduce the LG Pay mobile payment solution in the U.S. The service is expected to be available as LG Wallet in the country.
