In February, LG had reportedly showcased the LG G7 flagship behind closed doors to select clients. Today, the company has finally launched it with LG G7 ThinQ moniker. Here is all the information on its specs and features.
LG G7 ThinQ Specifications and Features
The LG G7 ThinQ features a 6.1-inch FullVision Super Bright LCD panel that offers QHD+ resolution of 3120 x 1440 pixels along with aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The back panel of the phone is made out of Gorilla Glass 5 and it comes in multiple colors like New Platinum Gray, New Aurora Black, New Moroccan Blue and Raspberry Red. The G7 ThinQ has an IP68 rated and MIL-STD-810G grade chassis.
The Snapdragon 845 powers the G7 ThinQ. The base model has 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. The higher model that has 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage is dubbed as G7 ThinQ+. It features a microSD card slot. It runs on Android 8.0 Oreo. The handset is fueled by QC 4.0 and Qi wireless charging enabled 3,000mAh battery.
The vertical dual camera of the G7 ThinQ includes f/1.9 aperture 16-megapixel Super Wide Angle primary lens that is coupled with f/1.6 aperture 16-megapixel lens. The main sensor is equipped with OIS, phase detection and laser autofocus. It is fitted with f/1.9 aperture 8-megapixel frontal camera. The G7 ThinQ lacks a 3.5mm audio jack. The other features of the phone include Super Far Field Voice Recognition microphone, dedicated physical button for Google Assistant, Boom box stereo speakers and 32-bit Quad DAC from ESS.
The LG G7 ThinQ will be made available in select markets of North America, Latin America, Europe and Asia. Its pricing is yet to be disclosed.
