LG has officially announced their latest Optimus LTE III handset in South Korea, although it seems to be a rather quiet announcement this time round. Sad to say, the Optimus LTE III doesn’t come with any impressive specifications – which is why the device didn’t make it to the headlines.
A quick run-down for it’s specifications – 4.7-inch 720p IPS display, 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 2GB RAM, 8 megapixels rear camera, 1.3 megapixels front camera, 2540mAh battery, and finally a 16GB onboard storage. The Optimus LTE III will also be running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean software, which we expect it to be updated to Android 4.2 on a later date. We don’t know how true it is, but there are reports claiming that the Optimus LTE III is a re-branded version for the International variant of the Optimus F7 – and we actually thought so too. If you’re interested, the device will be available in both black and whitec colors.
In the meantime, let’s wait for LG to release more details on its pricing.
