Last year, LG had unveiled the LG V30 smartphone at the IFA 2017 tech trade show. Hence, it is likely that the South Korean company may use the same platform this year in August to announce the LG V40 ThinQ. On the contrary, some rumors have claimed that the V40 ThinQ may get unleashed in the last quarter of this year because of the delayed arrival of LG G7 ThinQ. Today, Android Police has managed to get hold of some juicy information on the upcoming V40 ThinQ.
Fresh information that has surfaced today reveals that the V40 ThinQ will be equipped with an OLED screen like the predecessor V30 phone. Like the G7 ThinQ, the OLED screen of the V40 ThinQ is likely to feature a notch. What’s astonishing about today’s report is that the South Korean company is rumored to include five cameras on it. It is speculated that V40 ThinQ will be arriving with triple rear cameras and dual front-facing shooters. The handset will be also equipped with face unlock feature.
The triple camera setup is expected to include a wide-angle lens, an ultrawide lens and an unknown third sensor. The Snapdragon 845 chipset is present under the hood of the V40 ThinQ. It is also expected to arrive with features like Quad DAC and an exclusive key for accessing Google Assistant. The fingerprint sensor will be also sitting on the backside of the phone.
