Yesterday, we learned that the upcoming Asus ROG Phone 2 will be the first smartphone in the world to be fueled by the latest Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC which is touted to boast 4.2% faster CPU and 15% faster GPU performance.
Now, a pair of alleged live images of the Asus ROG Phone 2 had been leaked on the Chinese Weibo microblog – revealing the front design of the highly anticipated handset. Similar to most other gaming smartphones, the ROG Phone 2 will still features a relatively thick bezels due to the need to house its stereo speakers.
On the whole, there isn’t anything particularly eye-catching for its front panel from what we’d seen above. Most of its main attractions will lie in its specs and hardware features which are capable of providing a superior gaming performance for the gamer.
Earlier reports have already confirmed that the ROG Phone 2 will come with an incredible 120Hz display and will have up to 12GB worth of RAM under its memory compartment. The device also have its gaming software specially customize by Tencent Games in order to deliver a more immersive gaming experience.
For those who’d missed out, the ROG Phone 2 will be officially announced on July 23rd later this month.
