Previously, Huawei has confirmed that the P30 and Mate 20 series will be the first batch of smartphones to receive the highly anticipated EMUI 10 Beta update in September. This update will first be rolled out to the P30 series starting September 8th, and then subsequently rolled out to the Mate 20 series in late September.
Now, the company has also revealed in their community forum that they will be seeding the Magic 3.0 UI Beta to four Honor smartphones in late September as well. These devices are none other than the Honor 20, Honor 20 Pro, Honor V20, as well as Honor Magic 2.
In case you’re wondering, the Magic 3.0 UI is in fact the rebranded version of the EMUI 10 which is meant for Honor devices.
Since EMUI 10 and Magic 3.0 UI are both based on Android Q, it’s a matter of fact that the aforementioned handset will also be upgraded to the latest Android Q in the coming months.
So far, we could see from the reactions on various community forums that the new features which come along with EMUI 10 have been warmly welcomed. Some of these key features include refreshed user interface, an exhilarating dark mode, snappier performance, multi-screen collaboration, Huawei’s HiCar and most importantly the new Always-on display upgrades.
