The Meizu 16s was unveiled few months ago as an enhanced version of the Meizu 16 flagship phone from 2018. Newer reports had revealed that the Chinese firm is working on Meizu 16s Pro handset. This phone will be an upgraded version of the Meizu 16s Plus smartphone from the previous year. Today, the company has confirmed that the Meizu 16s Pro will go official on Aug. 28. There is no official information available on its specs yet.
The Meizu 16s Pro leaks have revealed that its design will be quite similar to the Meizu 16s smartphone. The only major difference will be that the Pro will come equipped with a triple camera setup. A leaked listing of the phone that was spotted yesterday had revealed some of its keys specs along with the price.
The listing had revealed that the smartphone will come in Pearl White option apart from the Taobao listing of the phone that was spotted in June. It had revealed that the phone is equipped with a 90Hz AMOLED display that offers 120Hz touch sampling rate. The phone is also equipped with an in-screen fingerprint reader. The Snapdragon 855+ fuels the smartphone. It may come in two sizes such as 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage and 12 GB RAM + 512 GB storage. The later could be priced at 3,699 Yuan ($525).
The Meizu 16s Pro may feature UFS 3.0 storage. For shooting photos, it has a 20-megapixel front camera and a triple camera setup with a 48-megapixel lens, a 20-megapixel telephoto lens and a third sensor. The 4,010mAh battery of the phone supports 18W fast charging.
