Meizu 16T Official Render Shows Off a New Whale Blue Colorway

Meizu 16T will be officially announced on October 23rd in the Chinese market. Ahead of it’s unveiling, Meizu’s VP Hua Hailiang had posted the first-ever official render of the device, showing off a new colorway dubbed as “Whale Blue”.

This device is touted to be the company’s first affordable gaming-centric smartphone which will go heads on against the likes of iQOO Neo and Honor View 20 to name a few. In order to maintain it’s affordability, Meizu 16T has opted for last year’s Snapdragon 855 SoC, instead of the latest Snapdragon 855+ SoC.

Although it runs on a slightly older SoC, but it still managed to achieve a decent score of 418,909 points on AnTuTu benchmark in term of it’s overall performance.

From what we’d learned so far, the Meizu 16T is expected to feature a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with 2232 X 1080 pixels screen resolution. In it’s memory compartment, there will be up to 8GB of RAM and a hefty 256GB onboard storage.

Moving on to it’s camera, there will be a 12MP+8MP+5MP triple-camera setup, as well as a 16 megapixels selfie camera. Under the hood, the device is fueled by a 4,400mAh battery with fast-charging support.
