The Meizu 16Xs has finally gone official in China. It has arrived as the successor of the Meizu 16X mid-range phone from last year. The newly unveiled Meizu 16Xs smartphone is the company’s first smartphone with triple rear camera. It is powered by Snapdragon 675 chipset.
Meizu 16Xs Specifications and Features
The Meizu 16Xs comes with a 6.2-inch Super AMOLED display. The notch-less screen that is equipped with super-slim bezels is embedded with an in-screen fingerprint reader. The display carries support for full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2232 pixels.
The Snapdragon 675 chipset is present under the hood of the device along with 6 GB of RAM. It can be availed in 64 GB and 128 GB storage choices. However, there is no microSD card slot on the device.
The rear shell of the phone is fitted with a triple camera setup that includes a 48-megapixel sensor with f/1.7 aperture, an ultrawide lens of 8-megapixel with f/2.2 aperture and a depth sensor of 5-megapixel. The selfie camera of 16-megapixel with f/2.2 aperture is placed on the frontside of the phone. There is a 4,000mAh battery inside the device. It carries support for mCharge 18W rapid charging. The FlymOS 7.3 UI based Android 9 Pie OS comes preloaded on the device.
Meizu 16Xs Price and Release Date
The 64 GB and 128 GB Meizu 16Xs editions are respectively priced at 1,698 Yuan ($245) and 1,998 Yuan ($289). Its four color variants include Midnight Black, Atlantis Blue, Coral Orange and Silk White.
