Yesterday, Meizu officially confirmed that the Meizu 21 Pro will be announced on Feb. 29 in China. It is speculated that it could be the last smartphone from the brand, as the company may switch its focus to AI in the future. Ahead of the launch, tipster Digital Chat Station has leaked the key specifications of the device.
Meizu has already confirmed that the Meizu 21 Pro will arrive with a 6.79-inch AMOLED display with a flat design and super-slim bezels. The leaker claims the screen will support an LPTO refresh rate and a 2K resolution.
The above poster released by the brand confirms that the Meizu 21 Pro will have a mTouch Max ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor with a larger scanning area. The leaker claimed that the device will have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and 16 GB of RAM.
The Meizu 21 Pro is expected to feature a triple camera unit on the back. The leak claims that it will consist of a 50-megapixel primary camera and a telephoto camera. As per a previous leak, it could be equipped with an OmniVision OV50H primary snapper.
DCS added that, as per the engineering prototype of the device, it is also equipped with a periscope telephoto camera. The leaker did not mention anything else about the device.
Rumors suggest that the Meizu 21 Pro may pack a battery of around 5,000mAh capacity. The device may support 80W wired and 50W wireless charging.
