Meizu recently confirmed that it will focus on AI going forward. So, it was said that the brand would not launch new phones. However, a brand-new poster confirming the Meizu 21 Pro’s release date in China on Feb. 29.
As can be seen in the above poster, the Meizu 21 Pro will come equipped with a 6.79-inch AMOLED display. Despite housing a large display, users will be able to use it with a single hand conveniently. The company has not confirmed anything else about the device.
Previous reports have claimed that the Meizu 21 Pro’s display will support a 2K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanner. It may house a 5,000mAh battery with 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging support.
There is no information about the front camera of the Meizu 21 Pro. Its rear camera setup is expected to include a 50-megapixel OmniVision OV50H primary camera, a 3x telephoto camera, and an ultra-wide lens.
Under the hood, the Meizu 21 Pro will have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, LPDDR5x RAM, and UFS 4.0 storage. It is expected to run on Flyme 10.5; however, it is unclear whether it will come with Android 14 or 13.
The device will come with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage, according to a leaked image that tipster WHYLAB shared. The leak also revealed that the device will be priced at 5,299 Yuan ($736). It is unclear whether the device will be released in markets outside of China.
