The March 21 launch event of the Meizu E3 is close at hand. A recent report had claimed that the 32 GB and 128 GB storage models of the E3 would be priced at 1,499 Yuan and 1,799 Yuan. A leaked image showing the offline pre-sale price of the Meizu E3 has appeared on Weibo today. It reveals that the handset will be carrying a price tag of 2,299 Yuan (~$363).
The new pricing of Meizu E3 is quite higher than the predecessor model that was made available at 1,299 Yuan pricing. Recent reports have revealed that the handset will be featuring a 5.99-inch FHD+ display that will offer an aspect ratio of 18:9. The highest configuration model of the phone may feature 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. For photography, it come equipped with 12-megapixel + 20-megapixel dual camera setup. It is expected to deliver stellar photography experience as Meizu VP Li Nan has claimed that it features a better CMOS sensor than the Meizu Note 6. Some rumors have claimed that it will be featuring the Sony IMX363 sensor.
The Snapdragon 636 that powers the Redmi Note 5 in China is expected to power the Meizu E3. Hence, the E3 being dubbed as a Note 5 killer phone. However, if it arrives 2,299 Yuan pricing, it won’t be able to disturb the sales of Redmi Note 5 in the home country.
