Meizu has officially confirmed that it will be holding a launch event on Sep. 20 at Beijing Performing Arts Center, Beijing, China to unveil the Meizu M6 smartphone. Recent reports have already the specifications of the smartphone. The smartphone has also appeared on Geekbench to reveal some of its key specs.
According to Geekbench listing, the Meizu M6 is powered by MediaTek MT6750 chipset and 3 GB of RAM and it is running on Android 7.0 Nougat OS. On Geekbench, the handset has scored 599 on single-core test and 2,470 on multi-core test.
The leaked images of the smartphone that appeared earlier this week suggest that it may sport a metallic build and may come with similar specs as Meizu M5 from last year. The Meizu M6 is expected to arrive with a 5.2-inch HD display. It may feature 32 GB of storage. Speculations are rife that it may feature 64 GB of storage and 4 GB of RAM.
The older Meizu M5 came with a plastic body and it featured a 5.2-inch HD display. It is also powered by MediaTek MT6750 chipset. It is available in two models such as 16 GB of storage and 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage and 3 GB of RAM.
