Meizu has unveiled its newest budget smartphone – the Meizu M6. It has arrived to succeed the Meizu M5 smartphone from 2016. Like the predecessor phone, the Meizu M6 carries similar specs and budget pricing.
The Meizu M6 would be coming with a 5.2-inch display that supports and HD resolution of 720 x 1,280 pixels. The handset is driven by MediaTek MT6750 chipset that also powers the predecessor phone. It includes a 1.5 GHz octa-core processor. Below the display is a fingerprint scanner.
The handset is running on Android 7.0 Nougat that is flavored with Flyme 6.0 U. A 3,070mAh battery present inside the smartphone. The rear camera of the Meizu M6 is of 13-megapixel whereas its front-facing camera is of 8-megapixel.
Meizu M6 will be measuring 148.2 x 72.8 x 8.3 mm and its weight is 143 grams. The handset will be available in colors like Moonlight Silver, Champagne Gold, Matte Black and Electric Light Blue.
The Meizu M6 comes in two models. The 32 GB model with 3 GB of RAM is priced at 899 Yuan (~$137) and the 16 GB model with 2 GB of RAM carries a pricing of 699 Yuan (~$106). The sales of the smartphone will begin on Sept. 25 in China. However, there is no information available on the arrival of the phone outside of China.
