Meizu M6S has been officially certified by Chinese TENAA authority

Yesterday, we just reported that the Meizu M6S has been benchmarked by renowned Chinese benchmarking app AnTuTu which revealed some of the device’s key specs. Right now, the same device has been officially certified by the Chinese TENAA authority as well – pouring out more details and even official shots of the Meizu M6S.

Indeed, just like what we’d seen from the earlier leaks, the Meizu M6S will be featuring a fingerprint sensor which is mounted on its right-hand side of the device slightly below the Power button. This is unlike most other typical Meizu smartphones which usually have their fingerprint sensor located on its rear chassis.

As seen in the picture above, Meizu has chose to ditch their signature mback button this time round in place of an onscreen Home button which according to rumors, can double up with the same functionalities as the mback button as well. On the flip side, there is also a mblu logo engraved on its back panel suggesting that the device may carries a new branding instead of the “Meizu M” moniker. From what we understand so far, the device might possibly be launched as the Meizu mblu S6 for the global market.

According to its TENAA listing, the Meizu M6S will come with a 5.7-inches HD+ display which features a 18:9 screen aspect ratio. The device will be powered by a Exynos 7872 SoC alongside 3GB of RAM and 32GB worth of internal storage space. Under the hood, there is also a 3,000mAh non=removable battery to keep the device running for a decent amount of time.
