Meizu M6s, the first smartphone from Meizu that will be arriving with 18:9 aspect ratio display is slated to get announced on Jan. 17. The handset has recently appeared on AnTuTu benchmarking site and TENAA certification body website in China. It appears that the Chinese manufacturer is testing the performance of the phone before its launch as it has surfaced on Geekbench benchmarking site.
The Meizu M6s can be seen running on Android 7.0 Nougat OS and it seems to be powered by Samsung’s Exynos chipset that features hexa-core processor that clocks 1.59 GHz. Previous leaks have revealed that the Exynos 7872 chipset will be powering the smartphone. The Geekbench listing reveals that the SoC of the phone is coupled with 3 GB of RAM. On the benchmarking site, the smartphone has recorded 1312 and 3134 scores on single-core and multi-core tests, respectively.
Some rumors claim that domestic markets will receive the Exynos edition of the Meizu M6s and its international model will be driven by MediaTek MT6750. However, there is no concrete evidence to support this claim. Speculations are rife that it may launch with Meizu mblu M6s moniker.
The TENAA listing of the phone has revealed that it has 32 GB of native storage. Its 18:9 aspect ratio will be supporting HD+ resolution of 720 x 1,440 pixels. It is expected to come with 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. Lastly, it will be powered by a 2,930 mAh battery.
