After several months of hiatus, Micromax might soon be making it’s return to the smartphone scene with a new entry-level smartphone dubbed as the Micromax In 2C. Ahead of it’s launch, this device had appeared on Geekbench along with some of it’s crucial specs.
According to it’s listing, the upcoming Micromax In 2C will be arriving with an octa-core Unisoc T610 chipset fabricated under a 12nm process. It’s a pretty decent chipset that comprises of two 1.8 GHz Arm Cortex-A75 and six 1.8 GHz Arm Cortex-A55 processing cores that are paired with a Mali G52 MP2 GPU.
This isn’t surprising since the company had already released a number of smartphones powered by Unisoc chipset including the Micromax iOne Note. Finally, the same listing also revealed that the phone will be featuring 4GB of RAM along with Android 11 out of the box.
Since the Micromax In 2C had already been benchmarked on Geekbench, it’s likely that the phone could be launched in the upcoming weeks.
