Micromax IN Note 2 debuts with MediaTek Helio G95, 48MP quad-cameras & 30W fast-charging

After launching the first IN Note series smartphone back in 2020, Micromax is now finally back with the brand new Micromax IN Note 2 smartphone in the Indian market, where the phone carries an attractive launch price of just INR12,490 (US$167).

The Micromax IN Note 2 builds around a 6.43” AMOLED display that offers a FHD+ screen resolution along with a standard 60Hz refresh rate. To help with selfie and video call, there’s also a 16 megapixels front-facing camera housed within a centered hole-punched cutout compartment.

Around the back of the phone, it features a Galaxy S21-inspired camera design which play host to a quad-camera system comprising of a 48 megapixels main camera, 5 megapixels ultra-wide unit, as well as a pair of 2 megapixels cameras for macro and depth information.

Under the hood, the Micromax IN Note 2 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G95 chipset that’s paired with up 4GB RAM and 64GB built-in storage which can be further expanded via a microSD card.

To keep it’s lights on, the Micromax IN Note 2 is backed by a respectable 5,000mAh battery with 30W fast-charging support. Other than that, it also features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack for wired headphones.
