Although the Redmi 9 smartphone had already go on sale in several Asian markets including Singapore and Malaysia, but the device will only make its way to the Chinese market on June 24th.

According to the company, more than 19 million smartphones from the Redmi 8 series have already been shipped globally – making it one of the best-selling budget smartphone series in the market.
This of course, didn’t came much as a surprise to most of us. The Redmi 8 series smartphones are some of the most value for money entry-level smartphones which had garnered huge popularity among the Asian markets.
The Redmi 9 series continues to build upon the success of its predecessor with a revamped design and upgraded specs while keeping its pricing competitive.
During its first flash sale in Singapore and Malaysia, the Redmi 9 smartphone was sold out within a short span of 7 minutes and 30 minutes respectively.
