Moto E20 Specifications and Render Leaked, Launch Seems Imminent

Recent reports have revealed that Motorola is working on at least two E-series smartphones called the Moto E20 and Moto E40 smartphones. Today, reputed leaker Evan Blass shared a render and key specifications of the smartphone. The new leak suggests that its launch date could be drawing near.

The upcoming Moto E20’s model number is XT2155-1 and it is codenamed as Aruba. In the leaked render, the budget-friendly smartphone can be seen sporting a teardrop notch display and a noticeable chin. As per the leak, it has a 6.5-inch screen that supports an HD+ resolution. It has a front camera of 5-megapixel.

The hexagonal patterned rear shell of the E20 seems to be made out of polycarbonate material. The camera unit available at its top-left corner includes a 13-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel secondary lens, and an LED flash.

The E20 is powered by a 1.6GHz octa-core processor. Since it does not feature a Qualcomm chip, it appears that the company may have settle for a Unisoc processor for the device. It will arrive with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of built-in storage. The E20 is backed by a 4,000mAh battery and it will run on Android 11 OS.

The Moto E20 render further reveals it has a 3.5mm audio jack at the top, whereas its bottom edge features a microphone, a USB-C port, and a loudspeaker grille. A SIM slot is available on the left side of the device, while its right edge has buttons for the voice assistant, volume, and power.

Blass’s tweet also confirms that has another E-series phone called Moto E30 (codenamed as Cyprus) in the works. At present, there is no information on its specifications.
