Moto G 5G Specifications and Moto G 5G Plus Existence Revealed

A leaked render of the forthcoming Moto G 5G smartphone was revealed by reputed tipster Evan Blass yesterday. Few hours after sharing the leaked render, the tipster revealed the specs sheet of the device and he also said that it is being referred to as Motorola Edge Lite. The leakster also said that Moto G 5G Plus handset is also coming but did not share any information on its specs.

The specs sheet of the Moto G 5G states that it measures 167.98 x 73.97 x 9.59mm and it weighs 207 grams. The Full HD+ display has dual punch holes on the display, and it supports an aspect ratio of 21:9. The display offers a 90Hz refresh rate. Unfortunately, the size of the screen is not revealed in the leak.

The Snapdragon 765 mobile platform fuels the Moto G 5G along with 4 GB of RAM. The device has a built-in storage of 64 GB. It has a microSD card slot for additional storage.

The Moto G 5G has a 48-megapixel + 5-megapixel (macro) + 8-megapixel (ultrawide) + 2-megapixel (depth) quad-camera system. The dual-SIM phone runs on Android 10 OS. The other features of the smartphone include USB-C, Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi, side-facing fingerprint reader, and a hardware key for accessing Google Assistant.

According to XDA Developers, the XT2075-1 and XT2075-3 model numbers belong to the handset that received FCC certification in the recent past. The FCC listing revealed that it has a 4,800mAh battery. The publication claims that the XT2075-1 variant could be launching as Motorola Edge Lite through Verizon in the U.S. The XT2075-3 model could be hitting the global markets. Motorola may announce the device through its unveil event that is scheduled to take place on July 7.
