Motorola had launched the Moto G4 Play smartphone alongside the Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus in 2016. However, the G Play model was skipped last year. Reliable tipster Evan Blass had claimed last year that Motorola will be launching the Moto G6 Play handset alongside the Moto G6 and G6 Plus smartphones. Also, in the previous week, some publications had also confirmed on the arrival of Moto G6 Play. Today, by partnering with @OnLeaks, an Indian publication has released a video showing the 360-view of the upcoming Moto G6 Play.
The renders reveal that the smartphone would be housing a metallic chassis that will be measuring 155.4 x 72.2 x 8.94mm. The portion with the camera bump will have a thickness of 9.35mm. The physical home button is not available below the screen. Hence, the fingerprint scanner appears to be embedded under the “M” logo on the back panel of the phone. At the front, the top bezel seems to feature an LED enabled selfie camera.
It is speculated that the Motorola Moto G6 Play will be coming with a 5.7-inch display that will produce HD resolution. It will be powered by Snapdragon 430 and it will arrive in two models such as 2 GB RAM + 16 GB storage and 3 GB RAM + 32 GB storage. It will be coming with a massive battery of 4,000mAh capacity. Previous reports have suggested that Dark Charcoal, Deep Blue and Gold are the three color variants of the G6 Play.
