Motorola is reportedly gearing up to launch two new G-series smartphones. Reliable tipster Mukul Sharma has been spilling information about these phones since last week. Today, the tipster confirmed that the new Motorola phones heading to the Indian market are called the Moto G60 and Moto G40 Fusion.
Sharma further claimed that the Moto G60 and Moto G40 Fusion will be arriving with Snapdragon 732G chipset. He will be revealing more information on both phones in the coming days. It appears that both phones may break cover later this month.
Past reports have revealed that the Moto G60 and Moto G40 Fusion have similar specs and they mainly differ in front and rear camera departments. Reports had claimed that the Moto G60 will be made available in European markets, while the G40 Fusion will come to markets like India and Brazil. However, tipster Sharma revealed both phones are expected to debut in India soon.
The Moto G60 and G40 Fusion are likely to feature a 6.78-inch display that offers an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The SD732G powered phones are backed by a 6,000mAh battery, which may carry support for rapid charging.
The Moto G60 is expected to feature a 32-megapixel front-facing, whereas the G40 Fusion may house a 16-megapixel selfie snapper. The G60’s triple camera system will include a 108-megapixel main camera, an 8-mgeapixel lens, and a 2-megapixel tertiary camera. The G40 Fusion’s triple camera setup may feature a 64-megapixel primary camera and the same 8-megapixel and 2-megapixel lenses.
The G60 and G40 Fusion will ship with Android 11 OS and these devices will have a dedicated button for accessing the Google Assistant. At present, there is no word on the pricing of both models.
