Motorola has silently unveiled the Moto G71 5G smartphone in China. The variant that has launched today is slightly different from its global edition, which went official last month. Here is all the information on the specifications, features, and pricing of the Moto G71 5G.

The Moto G71 5G has a 6.5-inch AMOLED punch-hole screen that offers an FHD+ resolution and DCI-P3 color gamut. The handset runs on My UI flavored Android 11 OS. A fingerprint scanner is conveniently placed on the rear shell of the device.
Speaking of the rear shell, the main camera setup of the Moto G71 5G has a 50-megapixel main camera, which is accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultrawide with a 121-degree field-of-view (FOV) and 2-megapixel macro camera with a 4cm focal length. It is equipped with a 13-megapixel camera with a 105-degree FOV for capturing selfies.
The Snapdragon 695 chipset is at the helm of the Moto G71 5G. The device ships to 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM, 3G GB of virtual RAM, and up to 128GB of storage. It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery, which only supports 30W charging. The usual connectivity options such as a hardware key for accessing voice assistant, dual SIM support, 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, GPS, NFC, USB-C, and a 3.5mm audio jack are also available on the G71 5G.
As can be seen, the Moto G71 5G’s Chinese and global editions have almost identical specs. They mainly differ in departments like RAM and front camera. The global edition has 6 GB of RAM and a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. In addition, the voice assistant can be customized to access other apps/functions.
Moto G71 5G pricing and availability
The Moto G71 5G comes in single trim of 8 GB RAM and 128 GB of storage. It is priced at 1,699 Yuan (~$267) and it can be bought in colors like Nebula Green and Glacier Blue. It is unclear whether the Lenovo-owned brand will be selling the G71 5G’s Chinese edition in other markets.
