Moto G82 5G’s Fast Charging Capabilities Revealed via 3C certification

Recent reports have revealed that Motorola is working on a midrange phone named the Moto G82 5G. It is speculated that model numbers XT2225 and XT2231 are associated with the smartphone. Apart from appearing on Geekbench, the Moto G82 5G has also emerged in the database of certification sites such as the FCC (US). SIRIM (Malaysia), EEC (Europe), BIS (India), and TDRA. Now, the device has bagged approval from the 3C authority of China.

As seen in the screenshot, the Moto G82 5G with model number XT2225-2 has appeared in the database of the 3C certification site. The listing shows that the device may carry support for 33W fast charging. The listing also confirms that the Moto G82 is a 5G-enabled smartphone.

Moto G82 5G Specifications (Rumored)

The Moto G82 5G’s Geekbench appearance revealed that it will be powered by the Snapdragon 695 mobile platform and 8 GB of RAM. It will come preinstalled with Android 12 OS. Like other Motorola phones, the G82 is expected to offer a near-stock experience of Android OS.

The Moto G82 is expected to house a 5,000mAh battery. Apart from 5G, it will carry support for dual-band Wi-Fi and dual SIM. The other specs of the G82 are under the wraps.

A recent report revealed that Motorola has planned to launch around 19 smartphones this year across different markets. The company has already launched the Motorola Edge 30 Pro powered by the Snapdragon  Gen 1. In the coming months, the company is expected to announce other Edge models such as Motorola Edge 30, Edge 30 Lite, and Edge 30 Ultra.
