Last year, Lenovo had released the Moto M mid-range smartphone powered with MediaTek Helio P10 chipset for Chinese audience in November 2016. Its Indian variant was powered by Helio P15 SoC. It seems that the company is already working on its successor as an alleged device with model number Lenovo X1902-3 has appeared on Geekbench on June 1.
Usually, XT prefix is used by Motorola for its smartphones which indicates this could be Moto device and the specs that has appeared on the benchmarking platform gives us a hint that it could the Moto M.
According to Geekbench listing, the XT1902-3 is running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS and it is powered by MediaTek MT6797 chipset (Helio P20) that works at 1.85 GHz. The SoC is coupled with 4 GB of RAM. On single-core test, it has scored 1,163 points and multi-core test, it has recorded 4,836 points. If it is a sequel for Moto M, it may probably launch as Moto M2 and it may get introduced in the last quarter of 2017. More details on the mysterious phone is expected to surface in the coming months.
