Motorola Moto Z2 Force Edition has been officially launched and it is already available on pre-orders in the U.S. By later summer, it would be hitting other markets such as Mexico, Brazil, Middle East, Africa and some European nations. It comes in two colors like Super Black and Fine Gold. It measures 155.8 x 76 x 6.1mm and its weight is 143 grams.
Moto Z2 Force Specs and Features
The smartphone sports a brushed metal chassis with antenna bands placed on the top and bottom edges of the back panel. It comes with a water repellant nano coating. It features a 5.5-inch POLED (plastic OLED) display that is dubbed as ShatterShield screen by Motorola. It supports Quad HD resolution. This flagship phone has the Snapdragon 835 chipset. It comes in two variants such as 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage and 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage.
The U.S. will be getting 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage model of Moto Z2 Force. Other regions will get 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage. China will be getting 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage variant. All the models feature a microSD card slot. The Moto Z2 Force features a pair of Sony’s IMX386 12-megapixel monochrome + color sensors coupled with dual-LED flash and laser autofocus. The front-facing camera of the Moto Z2 Force is 5-megapxiel.
The USP of the phone is that users can various Moto Mods accessories to the backside of the phone. Motorola has introduced the Moto 360 Camera mod alongside the smartphone. Some of the connectivity features of this phone include NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11ac with MIMO, USB-C port for data transfer, audio and charging.
Moto Z2 Force Pricing and Availability
It will be soon available for $720 unlocked in the U.S. through Motorola. However, it can be now available through AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint and Verizon through contract. It is also available through BestBuy. The shipments through all these channels will begin from Aug. 10. Here is a low down on the pricing of Moto Z2 Force with each of these carriers.
AT&T – $27 monthly payments for 30 months; Full Price: $810.
T-Mobile – $30 upfront and then $30 monthly payments for two years; Full price $792. It is exclusively selling Lunar Grey color variant.
Sprint – $33 monthly payments for 18 months; Full price: $792
Verizon – $15 monthly payments for 24 months which brings the cost of this phone to $360, the remaining amount will be credited to the user through monthly bills. Otherwise, users can get it at a full price of $756.

Best Buy – Through Sprint’s Now Network, the Moto Z2 Force can be bought with $24.66 monthly payments for 24 months. The retailer is giving away a first-gen JBL SoundBoost mod for free.
