Motorola has confirmed that the company will be holding an official launch event on March 25th later this month. Although no details were given about the launch event, but the company is expected to launch the long-rumored Motorola Moto G100 and G50 devices.
So far, most of the specs pertaining to the duo are already known. The Moto G100 will be the main highlight of the event but is in fact the rebranded model of the Motorola Edge S which was previously launched in the Chinese market.
As such, we can expect the Moto G100 to sport largely similar specs including a 6.7” FHD+ IPS LCD display, 90Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 870 chipset, 64MP quad-camera setup, 16MP dual-selfie cameras, 5,000mAh battery, as well as 20W fast-charging support.
The Moto G50 on the other hand, will be a more affordable model that comes with a HD+ LCD display, 90Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 480 chipset, 48MP triple-camera system, 16MP selfie camera, 5,000mAh battery and possibly some form of fast-charging support.
