Motorola Droid Bionic to receive Jelly Bean update from Verizon

Motorola Droid Bionic to receive Jelly Bean update from VerizonWe’ve been hearing that Verizon will be rolling out the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update to the Motorola Droid Bionic, and today, Verizon has confirmed that the update will go live on Monday. According to Verizon, the update will come with a build number 98.72.22.XT875, that will bring some new goodies including the voice search feature, new notification panel, Google Now, smart keyboard and many more.

Verizon will roll out this update over-the-air, which means you’ll not need to use any software to download the Jelly Bean update at all. However, you can also go to Settings > About Device > Software Update > Check for Updates to maunally check for the update. Even if you do not receive the update notification on Monday, don’t worry you’ll probably receive it the next day or so – since Verizon always roll out their software updates in several batches.

Are you excited to have the Jelly Bean running on your Motorola Droid Bionic?
