We’d been hearing about the existence of the Motorola Edge 20 series smartphones for quite some time and now, Motorola has finally confirmed that the new Edge 20 series devices will debut on August 5th next month.
According to past reports, the Motorola Edge 20 series is likely to be offered in at least three different models including the vanilla Edge 20, Edge 20 Pro, as well as Edge 20 Lite. These devices are said to be powered by a Snapdragon 778G, Snapdragon 870 and Dimensity 700 chipsets respectively.
Just last week, we’d gotten our first look at the upcoming Motorola Edge 20 thanks to a series of CAD-based renderings which show off both the front and rear design of the phone.
The Motorola Edge 20 will reportedly features a 6.7” LCD display which offers a FHD+ screen resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, as well as a 32 megapixels selfie camera that’s housed within a central hole-punch cutout.
For photography, the Motorola Edge 20 relies on a vertically-stacked triple-cam system that include a 108 megapixels main camera, 16 megapixels ultra-wide lens, as well as an 8 megapixels telephoto lens which reportedly supports 3x optical zoom.
To keep it’s lights on, the phone is likely to draw power from a 4,000mAh battery which should come with some form of fast-charging support.
