Chen Jin, who is Lenovo’s General Manager has teased the arrival of a new Motorola branded flagship phone for China. It seems that the device will be breaking cover as the Motorola Edge S.
As it can be seen in the screenshot, Jin has used an unannounced device named the Motorola Edge S to publish the Weibo post. The new Weibo post further reveals that the upcoming Motorola flagship will be driven by the Snapdragon 8XX SoC.
Last year, Motorola announced the Edge+ smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 865 mobile platform. It is not clear whether the next Motorola flagship for China is powered by the Snapdragon 865 or the all-new Snapdragon 888 mobile platform.
Since the company did not launch the Edge+ in China, there is a possibility that this same device could be rebranded as the Motorola Edge S. Readers are advised to wait for further leaks to know about the forthcoming Motorola flagship.
