After launching the new Motorola G series smartphones in the global market last week, Motorola is now reportedly gearing up for the launch of two high-end models known as the Edge S30 and Edge X in the Chinese market.
Ahead of it’s launch, Motorola had published what seems to be a teaser for the upcoming Motorola Edge S30 Transformer Edition smartphone on it’s website. Furthermore, various news outlets had even published several alleged renders of this device which has an exclusive Transformer-themed design that comes with the signature Autobot logos etched to the rear panel of the phone.
However, apart from the cosmetic differences, this device is expected to share largely similar specs as the standard models which according to reports, is expected to be a rebranded model of the recently announced Moto G200 smartphone.
As a quick recap, the Motorola Moto G200 features a large 6.8” LCD display that boasts a sharp FHD+ screen resolution, super smooth 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10 certification and carries support for wide DCI-P3 color gamut coverage.
On the imaging front, the Moto G200 relies on a triple-cam setup at the back comprising of a 108 megapixels main camera, 13 megapixels ultra-wide lens, as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensor. For selfie and video calls, they will be covered by a 16 megapixels front-facing camera.
Under the hood, the Motorola Moto G200 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ chipset along with 8GB worth of LPDDR5 RAM as well as an option between 128GB or 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.
To keep it’s lights on, the Moto G200 is backed by a respectable 5,000mAh battery that carries support for 33W fast-charging. Other than that, it also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner as well.
