Motorola has unveiled a brand new budget-friendly smartphone – Motorola Moto E40 – in the European market where the phone is priced at just 149 Euros (US$172). Some may be glad to hear that the same device will be heading to the Indian market on October 12th.
The Motorola Moto E40 features a 6.5” IPS LCD display which offers a HD+ screen resolution as well as a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. On top of that, it also has an 8 megapixels front-facing camera to handle selfie and video calls.
Flipping the phone over, there’s a rectangular camera island that houses a triple-cam setup comprising of a 48 megapixels main camera along with a pair of 2 megapixels cameras for macro and depth information. Likewise, there’s also a fingerprint scanner at the back of the phone as well.
Under the hood, the Motorola Moto E40 is powered by an octa-core Unisoc T700 chipset which will be aided by 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage that’s expanded via a microSD card.
Keeping it’s lights on is a respectable 5,000mAh battery which carries support for an unspecified charging speed. Software-wise, the phone will be shipped with the company’s custom MyUX based on Android 11 OS.
