Motorola has unveiled a new mid-range phone known as the Moto G51 5G in the Chinese market where the phone carries an affordable starting price of just 1,499 Yuan (US$234).
The Motorola Moto G51 5G features a large 6.8” IPS LCD display that offers a HD+ screen resolution, smooth 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, as well as a 13 megapixels front-facing camera for selfie and video calling purposes.
At the back, the phone comes with a triple-cam setup comprising of a 50 megapixels wide camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, as well as a 2 megapixels macro camera for close-up photography. On top of that, you also get a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner as well.
Under the hood, the Moto G51 5G is the first smartphone in the world to feature the brand new Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ mobile platform. This will be paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB built-in storage.
To power the phone throughout the day, the Moto G51 5G is backed by a respectable 5,000mAh battery which carries an unspecified charging speed. On the software-side, it’ll be shipped with a custom My UI 2.0 based on Android 11 out of the box.
