Motorola has officially announced a pair of mid-ranger smartphones in the Indian market known as the Moto G60 and Moto G40 Fusion. These devices will be competing against other devices in the same segment including the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 4G and the POCO X3.
Under the hood, both the Moto G60 and Moto G40 Fusion are largely identical in terms of specs. The only notable differences between the two devices lie within their camera departments.
Upfront, both devices sport a 6.8” Max Vision IPS LCD display which offers a FHD+ screen resolution, smooth 120Hz refresh rate. as well as HDR10 support. On top of that, they also comes with a central hole-punch cutout which houses their selfie cameras as well.
For the Moto G60, its equipped with a 32 megapixels selfie camera while the Moto G40 Fusion settles for a slightly toned-down 16 megapixels front-facing shooter.
On the flipside, both the Moto G60 and Moto G40 Fusion comes along with a triple-camera system. Being the higher-end model, the Moto G60 naturally gets a slightly better 108 megapixels main camera over the 64 megapixels shooter on the Moto G40 Fusion. Other than that, both devices share the same 8 megapixels ultra-wide unit and 2 megapixels depth sensor.
Moving on, the duo are also powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 732G chipset which is paired with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage in the memory department. They will be backed by a massive 6,000mAh battery which carries support for 20W fast-charging.
Apart from that, both devices are shipped with the latest Android 11 OS out of the box, and also bring along NFC connectivity, 3.5mm headphone jack, as well as a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
For those who’re interested, the Moto G60 is priced at Rs 17,999 (US$240) for its 6GB+128GB model, while the Moto G40 Fusion sets you back by Rs 13,999 (US$187) and Rs 15,999 (US$214) respectively for its 4GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB variants.
