Motorola had launched the Moto G7 series in February this year. Recent reports have suggested that that the company may soon introduce new G-series smartphones. A new report on Winfuture.de has revealed that the Motorola will be announcing the Moto G8 Plus smartphone on Oct. 28. The report carries the renders and specs of the phone.

The Moto G8 Plus renders reveal that it will be sporting a waterdrop notch display on the front and a triple camera system on the rear. According to the report, the smartphone features a 6.3-inch IPS LCD display that supports full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels. The renders reveal that the handset has a thick-sized chin. The smartphone seems to be equipped with stereo speakers.
The Snapdragon 665 chipset powers the Moto G8 Plus smartphone with up 4 GB of RAM. The handset may release in 64 GB and 128 GB storage models. A microSD slot is available on the device for additional storage. The triple camera system on the rear is followed by a laser autofocus unit and an LED flash. The camera setup includes a 48-megapixel primary lens, a 16-megapixel ultrawide lens and a 5-megapixel sensor. Upfront is a 25-megapixel selfie snapper. It has a 4,000mAh battery that supports TurboCharge fast charging through USB-C. Its fingerprint scanner is embedded under the rear-mounted logo. As the renders reveal, the G8 Plus will be coming in colors like Blue and Red.
