The Motorola P50 smartphone which is a rebadged edition of the Motorola One Vision was announced without any fanfare in China. The handset carries a price tag of 2,499 Yuan ($364). Today, the company has confirmed that it will begin with the sales of the smartphone on July 20.
Soon after the announcement of the Motorola P50 smartphone in China, its pricing and availability were revealed through a Lenovo event in the Middle East. However, it is only today that the Chinese audience have received an official confirmation on the Motorola P50’s availability. Blue and Brown are the two color editions of the Motorola P50 smartphone for China.
The Motorola P50 features a 6.34-inch display with punch-hole design. The elongated display of the phone offers a tall aspect ratio of 21:9 along with full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2520 pixels. The Exynos 9609 chipset is present under the hood of the device along with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. There is a microSD card support on the device through hybrid SIM slot. The Motorola One Vision for international markets features 4 GB of RAM only.
The Motorola P50 has a 3,500mAh battery is blessed with 15W TurboPower fast charging technology. The OIS enabled 48-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual camera setup along with LED flash is placed on the backside of the phone. For capturing selfies, it has a front-facing camera of 25-megapixel.
