Rumors are rife that Motorola will unveil the Razr+ 2023 (aka Razr 40 Ultra) and Razr Lite flip phones on June 1 in the global market. There is a possibility that both, or at least the non-Lite model, will debut first in China, which indicates that it may go official as early as next month (May). In the recent teasers, the company seems to have confirmed the cover display size of the Razr+ 2023.
One of the most notable features of the Razr+ 2023 will be its cover screen, which may be the largest ever seen on a flip phone. Chen Jin, the Lenovo Group General Manager for Mobile Phone Business Department, has hinted that it could measure 3.5 inches in recent Weibo posts, although the company has not officially confirmed this.
Another rival phone, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5, is expected to have a slightly smaller cover screen at 3.4 inches. The Z Flip 5 is expected to debut in August this year.
