Motorola Razr (2023) Renders Emerge Well Before Launch

Motorola is reportedly planning to launch two flip phones this year. Tipster Evan Blass revealed in October 2022 that the Razr models arriving this year have “Juno” and “Venus” codenames. Publication TheTechOutlook has collaborated with Blass to share the first renders of the Juno model. The report states that the device will be dubbed as the Motorola Razr (2023) when it arrives on the market. The tipster has also released some renders of the device.

As can be seen, the most striking change on the Motorola Razr (2023) will be the increased size of the cover display. Like the Razr 2022, the top portion of the back panel houses an external screen. However, the massive size of the Razr (2023)’s external screen suggests its size could be around 3.5 inches.

Hence, it appears that the Razr (2023) could be equipped with the largest cover screen ever seen on a clamshell phone. The images also show that the rear screen has cutouts for the dual-camera unit and LED flash. On the inside, the device seems to feature the same display that was seen on the predecessor model.

The Motorola Razr (2022) features the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 and a 144Hz foldable AMOLED display. As per a previous leak by Blass, the Razr (2023) will also have the same chip and display. In all likelihood, the device may go official in August this year.

There is a possibility that the Venus model could be a more powerful device as compared to the Razr (2023). However, the specifications of this device are yet to be revealed.
