In December 2021, Lenovo confirmed that it is working on the Motorola Razr 3 flip phone. The original Razr, which debuted in 2019, came with Snapdragon 710 chipset. The Razr 5G from 2020 was packed with the Snapdragon 765G. Fresh information reveals that the upcoming Razr 3 will come with flagship specifications.

To begin with, the Razr 3 will come with an AMOLED foldable screen, which will offer a punch-hole camera cutout instead of the notch design that was made available on the predecessor models. It will offer a Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It will feature a front camera of 32-megapixel.
The rear side of the Razr 3 will feature a 50-megapixel (main) + 13-megapixel (ultrawide) dual-camera system. The former will be an OmniVision OV50A lens and the latter will be capable of capturing macro shots. The selfie snapper and the main rear camera will allow users to shoot 60fps 4K UHD and 120fps FHD videos. A secondary display will be also available on the rear shell of the Razr 3.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 will power the Motorola Razr 3. The device is expected to arrive with 6 GB, 8 GB, 12 GB of RAM and 128 GB, 256 GB, and 512 GB of storage. It will run on Android 12 OS and it will draw power from a small battery of 2,800mAh capacity. On the connectivity front, the device is expected to arrive with support for UWB (ultrawide-band) and NFC.

The Razr 3 is likely to launch in June this year. However, the Lenovo-owned brand may delay its arrival due to issues like the chip shortage and COVID-19 pandemic. There is no word on the pricing of the device.
