Through a launch event in Los Angeles, US, Motorola held a milestone launch event to bring back the Razr flip phone from the past. The new Motorola Razr features a foldable display and spots a design very similar to the yesteryear phone. The smartphone has debuted in the US with a pricing of $1,499.
Motorola Razr Specifications and Features
The Razr has a 2.7-inch outer Quick View display for checking notifications and for carrying basic tasks like responding to messages. Opening the device reveals its 21:9 aspect ratio support 6.2-inch Flex View display. The chin of the device is thick, and it features a power button that is integrated with a fingerprint scanner.
The Snapdragon 710 chipset powers the Motorola Razr flip phone along with 6 GB of RAM. It has native storage of 128 GB. The device lacks support for microSD card, and it is loaded with Android 9 Pie OS. The internal display has a notch that includes a 5-megapixel selfie camera. Below the outer display is a 16-megapixel main camera with Night Vision, EIS and dual LED flash support. The 2,520mAh non-removable battery of the phone supports 15W TurboPower fast charging. The device runs on Android 9 Pie OS. Lastly, it lacks a 3.5mm audio jack.
Motorola Razr Pricing and Availability
The Razr will be available for pre-orders through Verizon with a pricing of $1,499 from Dec. 26. Starting from Jan. 9, the shipments of the pre-ordered units will be carried out.
