Motorola Edge and Edge+ are the first 5G phones from the Lenovo-owned Motorola. The Moto G Plus 5G that arrived a bit later and the Motorola Edge are both powered by the Snapdragon 765G upper mid-range chipset. A fresh leak reveals that Motorola is now working on a new budget-friendly 5G phone that will feature the Snapdragon 690 chipset.
The exclusive report on TechnikNews refers tothe Motorola phone that will come with SD690 is codenamed as Kiev. Probably, Kiev could be the codename of the smartphone.
The report claims that the SD690 Motorola phone will have an OLED panel that supports 60Hz refresh rate and HDR. The device will carry support for Qualcomm aptX for music lovers.
The phone will come with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. There is a microSD card slot onboard for additional storage. The device also supports NFC connectivity.
The Motorola Kiev will have a quad camera system on its back. It will comprise of a 48-megapixel Samsung GM1 main camera, an 8-mgpaixel telephoto shooter (Samsung S5K4H7), and a 2-megapixel depth sensor (OmniVision OV02B10). For selfies, it will have a 16-megapixel OmniVision OV16A1Q, which is the same one found on the Redmi Note 9 Pro. It will come with Android 10 OS preinstalled.
